Terms of Service
The agreement between you and us. Short, in plain words, and without clauses designed to be skipped.
Last updated: 14 July 2026
01Who this is between
These terms are an agreement between you (or the company you act for) and ST STATICS, the operator of ST STATICS. By creating an account you accept them.
02What the service does
ST STATICS collects the reviews your apps receive on Google Play and the Apple App Store, and lets you search, tag, answer and analyse them in one place. Which features you get depends on your plan.
We describe features as they are, not as we hope they will be. Where something is on the roadmap rather than in the product, we label it as such.
03Your account
- You must give a real email address and keep your credentials secure.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account and by your team.
- You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.
- One person, one account. You may invite as many teammates as your plan's seat count allows.
04Your data stays yours
You keep every right to the apps, credentials, reviews, tags and notes you bring into ST STATICS. You grant us permission to store and process them for the sole purpose of providing the service to you — nothing else. We do not sell your data, we do not mine it, and we do not train models on it.
You can export your data at any time, and you can delete it at any time. See the Privacy Policy.
05What you may not do
- Connect a store account you are not authorised to access, or use credentials that are not yours to use.
- Post replies to reviews that break the store's own policies — Google and Apple hold you responsible for what appears under your developer account, and so do we.
- Attack the service: break into other workspaces, scrape it, overwhelm it, or probe it without permission.
- Resell access to the service as your own hosted product (see §9).
If you do any of this we may suspend your account. Where the breach is not serious, we will tell you what is wrong and give you a chance to fix it first.
06Plans, billing and refunds
- Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance, in USD, through our merchant of record, Polar. They — not we — handle your card and your invoice, and appear on your statement.
- Your plan renews automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time from Settings → Billing; you keep the paid features until the end of the period you have paid for, and are not charged again.
- Refunds: if the service does not do what we said it does, email us within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it in full. No forms, no interrogation.
- If a payment fails, we will tell you and keep your plan active for a short grace period before downgrading you to Free. We do not delete your data because a card expired.
- If we change prices, existing subscriptions keep their price until the next renewal, and we will email you before that renewal.
07The free plan
The Free plan is genuinely free and has no time limit. It is limited in what it can do — one app, thirty days of history — not in how long you may use it. We may change those limits, but we will not do it retroactively without telling you.
08Availability, and what we do not promise
We work to keep the service up, but we do not promise a specific uptime unless you have a written agreement with us that says otherwise. We depend on Google's and Apple's APIs: when they are down, rate-limit us, or change their rules, parts of the service can stop working, and that is outside our control.
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
09Our software and its licence
The ST STATICS source code is published under the Business Source License 1.1. You may read it, run it yourself and modify it. You may not use it to offer a competing hosted service. The licence file in the repository is the authoritative text and wins over this summary.
The name and the mark are ours and are not covered by that licence.
10Limits of liability
To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss — including lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data — arising from the use of the service.
Our total liability to you for any claim is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.
11Ending the agreement
You may close your account at any time from Settings → Privacy. We may terminate or suspend your account if you materially breach these terms, or if we stop offering the service — in which case we will give you at least 30 days' notice and time to export your data.
12Changes to these terms
If we make a material change, we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you may cancel and we will refund the unused part of your current period.
13Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is established, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
Questions about any of this go to support@st-statics.com, and a human will answer.
